Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 May 2026
Core Creative ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
1. Who we are
Core Creative is a web design studio operated from Perth, Australia, serving clients worldwide. ABN: 45 180 988 678. Contact: hello@corecreative.digital.
2. Information we collect
We only collect information necessary to respond to enquiries and deliver our services, including:
- Name, email address, phone number and business name (when you submit our contact form or email us)
- Project details you choose to share
- Billing details (handled through our accounting and payment providers)
- Basic, non-identifying website analytics (page views, device type, approximate location)
3. How we use your information
- Respond to your enquiry and provide quotes
- Deliver web design, hosting, care plan and Meta Ads services
- Issue invoices and meet our tax and record-keeping obligations
- Improve our website and services
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for unrelated marketing.
4. Cookies, tracking & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use our website and to measure the performance of our advertising. Specifically, we use:
- Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram): a small script from Meta Platforms that records events such as page views, contact clicks and enquiry submissions. This helps us measure the effectiveness of Meta ads and, where enabled, show relevant ads to similar audiences. Meta may set its own cookies and process data outside Australia. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
- First-party analytics cookies: aggregate, non-identifying data about page views, device type and approximate location.
- Essential cookies: required for site functionality (e.g. remembering your cookie choice).
When you first visit our site, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential tracking (including Meta Pixel). If you decline, we instruct Meta Pixel to revoke consent and no advertising events are sent. You can change your choice any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser, or by disabling cookies altogether — core functionality is not affected. Browsers also support "Do Not Track" and cookie-blocking extensions.
5. Third parties
We use trusted providers to operate our business (e.g. email, hosting, payment processing, advertising platforms). These providers only access information needed to perform their services and are bound by their own privacy obligations.
6. Storage & security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access or disclosure. Data may be stored on servers located in Australia or overseas (including the United States and EU) operated by reputable cloud providers.
7. Your rights
You may request access to or correction of your personal information at any time by emailing hello@corecreative.digital. You may also ask us to delete your information, subject to any legal obligations to retain it.
8. Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
9. Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
